Many items require *Scumbumbo's XML Injector*. I highly recommend getting it.
A number of things also need *Andrew's Crafting Enabler* to appear.
A cookbook is included called "Vampire Plasma Recipes Tome" so certain recipes can be crafted without either. But it provides limited access to many of the recipes.

Due to changes in mod file layout, it is recommended you delete any files from previous versions of this mod, to try & avoid issues with clashing with older versions.

As a change from before, most of everything is consolidated into "catdevpete_plasma_recipes.package".

All strings are kept separate inside "catdevpete_plasma_strings.package" in case anyone wants to translate the items, and/or wish to view the string entries in a more easier & consolidated manner.

The XML injected interaction for plasma recipes is now included into the base recipes package by default. It is my recommended way to select & filter for plasma recipes.
However, if you do/also prefer to access items via the regular menus, download & extract "optional-crafting-enabler.zip".

Description
-----------
Video Demonstration: https://youtu.be/gxsREhMoJrA

Everything requires Vampire Lore Level 9.

Notes - Food:
-------------
- Sims that haven't unlocked the relevant Vampire Lore Level (Level 9) shouldn't see the new recipes/interaction options in any appliances.
- With the tome, Sims that haven't reached Vampire Lore Level 9 will see greyed out options instead.
- Foods should show up on restaurants with custom menu regardless, and can be ordered.
- Recipe category filters should work. Both in cook mode, and in restaurants. No plasma category, unfortunately.
- Compatible with Cottage Living's simple living challenge. Also tailored the ingredients.
- Group cooking should work for all recipes, and should generate 12 servings.
- Meal recipes should generally satisfy more thirst than the original fruit salad, although still not as much as regular food.
- Pricing has been marked up a fair bit from their original counterparts.
- Non-vampire sims will still get sick from all recipes.
- The regular & tiered cake should be able to accept candles & wedding toppers.
- Birthday age-up for the plasma & tiered cake should be functional for kids & teens. And all non-vampires, I guess (although normal sims will feel sick after eating).
- Children previously would get sick trying to eat plasma food. I've tuned it to now allow them to eat any food recipes covered by this mod without getting sick.
- Plasma Jam requires sugar as well to produce.
- I've Included an override for the original plasma fruit salad, which will increase the thirst sate value from 18 -> 65, and make it possible to be exempt from "Withering Stomach" vampire weakness via the previous point. At this point, I've completely incorporated it into the mod, so message me somewhere if you feel this isn't convenient & would prefer it to be external (so you can use some other modder's adjustments to it).
- Most plasma foods, including the original plasma fruit salad if the above file is included, will now ignore the "Withered Stomach" vampire weakness. The "Plasma Tiered Cake" in the gourmet recipes will not work for now however. This is a bug & is being investigated.
- With plasma foods ignoring the "Withered Stomach" vampire weakness, this can be removed by overwriting the "catdevpete_plasma_consume_tunings.package" file with the optional add-on to revert plasma foods to their original intended functionality.
- Red Plasma Grilled Cheese will not meet milestone requirements for the Grilled Cheese Aspiration without the optional add-on for it. It is kept separate due to overriding additional tunings.

Notes - Drinks:
---------------
- Sims that haven't unlocked the relevant Vampire Lore Level (Level 9) shouldn't see the new recipes/interaction options in any objects or appliances.
- Most drinks should be available in restaurants.
- Worth noting that aside from a somewhat hefty markup for plasma-related products (as I usually do), plasma fruit is also a requirement to make most of the drinks. Apologies for anyone who finds it annoying, but I do prefer to follow maxis' pattern of making non-blood sucking vampires slightly more difficult to maintain by having ingredient requirements for recipes.
- Plasma drinks can be made for other sims, and you can select the drink (instead of it choosing the sim's 'favourite').
- Did not add any integration with Cottage Living's simple living challenge.
- Fizzy Red Plasma Fruit was not added in, because of issues with the sim's location when retrieving the fizzy bottle after finishing. This was not able to be resolved so far.

Notes - Red Plasma Fruit:
-------------------------
Red plasma fruit has been included as of v1.4.
- The seed packet will be on sale on the vampire goods phone order, or on the computer when the sim has reached lvl 8 Vampire Lore, same as the ordinary plasma fruit packet.
- The red plasma fruit also requires lvl 7 gardening before they can be planted, same as in The Sims 3 (which is the inspiration for it).
- The red plasma bush will be in season for every season but winter.
- The bush is bright green by default, reminiscent of The Sims 3 again. You can change the bush to a darker colour (basically, the Death Flower bush) via the optional override. Replace "catdevpete_plasma_red_base.package" with the file from the appropriate zip.

Notes - Tome:
-------------
By default, there's a cookbook included called "Vampire Plasma Recipes Tome" to make certain recipes without any 3rd party mods.
When the sim has Plasma Recipes (like vanilla Plasma Fruit Salad) unlocked, clicking it will show "Plasma Recipes" interactions.

- Can be found under decoration category, or in the appliances category under miscellaneous.
- Costs 100 simoleans.
- Can be placed in a Sim's inventory.
- It can be stored in a bookshelf, but only by manually dragging it. This is to prevent sims accidentally putting it away.
- Recipes can still be selected when the tome is in a sim's inventory, or in another object like the bookshelf.
- Cannot be purchased from a bookshelf, nor from the computer (since all that would require XML injection, which mostly invalidates the reason for the cookbook).

Overidden Tunings
-----------------
If there are any incidents of conflicts with other mods, these are the following tunings that have been overridden from this mod.
Therefore, any other mods which also attempt to override these tunings may either not work, or would instead render certain features of this mod to not work.

- object_Food_PlasmafruitSalad (ID: 155219)
- teaSet_PourTea_EnglishTeaSet_Gen1 (ID: 281119)
- teaSet_PourTea_EnglishTeaSet_Gen2 (ID: 281120)
- teaSet_PourTea_EnglishTeaSet_Gen3 (ID: 281121)
- teaSet_PourTea (ID: 275511)
- teaSet_PourTea_DoubleHappiness_Gen2 (ID: 281117)
- teaSet_PourTea_DoubleHappiness_Gen3 (ID: 281118)
- marketStalls_Tend_BubbleTeaCounter (ID: 280337)
- fruitPunchFountain_ImprovePunch (ID: 116880)
- loot_Buff_Vampire_PlasmaFruit (ID: 153396)

Future & Known Bugs/Issues
--------------------------
For the most part, I don't want to focus on adding more recipes. I can humour certain simple requests, and certain future packs may incentivise me to add in some new recipes here & there.
But otherwise I'm at the point where I want to either return to just being a Sims 4 player, or move onto other projects outside of The Sims.

I may also fix the mod when possible, if there are any issues introduced in future versions.
Perhaps also go through the older recipes & add in missing affordances and/or prepped ingredients from packs released after those custom recipes were released online.

Due to technical difficulties or limitations, I will likely not be adding in recipes for the following items, nor include the following features:
- Recipes from Realm of Magic's cauldron. Reason: Uses VFX.
- Drinks from Backyard Pack's summer drink tray. Reason: Uses VFX.
- Drinks from Drinks Fountain for Red Plasma Fruit. Reason: Uses VFX.
- Recipes from the Hot Pot in Snowy Escape. Reason: Need to either override existing Hot Pot BB object, or clone it.
- Ordering drinks from a Sim. Reason: Would require tuning override, could conflict with other mods. (I know I already override things, but I'd imagine there'd be more mods touching on this)

Regarding VFX, I have attempted to mod it, but I have not made much headway.
In addition, even if I can, they may need to be pooled into a communal resource so the different modders adding in custom VFX can do so without conflicting with each other, from my understanding.
This requires a submission process, and along with the original difficulty (and current lack of success), I don't really have the motivation to mod in any cc vampire foods that requires tampering with VFX.

Plasma Ube Siopao is not appearing in restaurants. I don't know why.

When sharing sweetheart boxes, sims won't try to seat themselves unlike the ordinary sweetheart boxes. When sharing, they will only do so standing up. This is being looked into.
I can probably get it to work if I override EA's tunings instead of using custom tunings, but I'm aware that there's other mods that also add in their own sweetheart boxes, so I want to minimise mod conflicts.

Instructions
------------
Note: Due to changes in how the files are organised between certain versions, it is recommended you delete any files from previous versions of this mod, to try & avoid issues with clashing with older versions.

Unzip the contents of the zip files into your Sims 4 mod folder.
Be sure to also include the tunings folder, that is also essential for the operation of this mod.
You can place them into subfolders to a certain extent, as there's no script files.
If it asks you to overwrite anything, make sure to do so for all.

In windows, it will typically look something like:
"C:\Users\<Your User Profile>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods"

For max OSX, it should look like:
"Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods"
